Ken Macdonald Case Manager is the newest (yet oldest!) member of the East Novability Society for Persons with Disabilities team.  Ken covers Antigonish and Guysborough Counties for East Novability, and provides regular outreach services in Antigonish, Guysborough, Canso, and Sherbrooke. As well, Ken shares client caseload with Darrell in Port Hawkesbury. He works with clients to identify their long-term, realistic employment goals and the necessary steps needed to achieve them.

Ken was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia and has seen his varied career path take him to New Brunswick, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Ken has a Bachelor of Arts and a graduate diploma in Adult Education from St. F. X. U., and a Certificate in Public Administration from Cape Breton University. He has also completed certificate and diploma level studies in Community Economic Development.

Before joining East Novability in April, 2008, Ken has worked as a researcher on programs and services available to welcome newcomers to Cape Breton and Victoria counties for the Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority, and served as Manager of Employment and Entrepreneurial Services for the Cape Breton University Students’ Union.

Ken is excited to be a part of this dynamic team, and to be contributing to its important work
